










The Brahma Kumaris Mauritius celebrated its Golden Jubilee – A Silent Journey of Wisdom on Saturday, 27 September 2025, at RM Garden, Trianon. The event marked 50 years of dedicated service in spreading peace, love, and harmony in Mauritius and beyond.
The celebration witnessed an overwhelming response with over 1700 participants filling the hall to capacity, including BK students, government officials, well-wishers, and members of the public.
The Chief Guest was His Excellency Mr. Dharambeer Gokhool, G.C.S.K, President of the Republic of Mauritius. His Excellency Mr. Anurag Srivastava, High Commissioner of India to Mauritius, was also present and shared inspiring words on the occasion. Several Members of Parliament, former MPs, and the Former President of the Republic of Mauritius graced the event, along with dignitaries and international guests from South Africa, Rwanda, Seychelles, Benin, Kenya, Réunion Island, Rodrigues, India, and beyond.
Distinguished overseas guests included Sister Sudesh, Joint Administrative Head & European Director of BKWSU; Sister Vedanti, Regional Director of BKWSU for African Countries; and Brother Charlie, Regional Director of BKWSU for Asia Pacific Regions. Brother Nizar Juma, a seasoned continental businessman from Kenya, also delivered a powerful message.
The program, which began with the national anthem and lamp lighting ceremony, featured cultural performances, a video on 50 years of service in Mauritius, inspiring addresses from guests, and moments of deep silence and meditation.
